A Great Pong Game

Finally, a pong game that is original and clever! I love the particles and the ability to curve the ball. Awesome job! Hope to see more of your work floating through the portal.

Jim! Fancy meeting you here! :)

Funny you should say that...Ellipsis is *the* reason that there is particles in this game. Your work has inspired me, and many others.

It seriously makes my day when I get a brilliant review from a Flash-God like yourself!

Fantastic

Front page'd indeed :).

Great job JK, the game was everything I could have hoped it to be. Refined, fun, and original, its an overall fantastic game. Congrats, I knew it successes would be great.

Thanks for all the advice and what not.

Awesome Job!

Viva la Microgame revolution!

Great job on this game, I was extremely thrilled to hear that a game like this was floating around Newgrounds. The gameplay, graphics, animation were right on target. The minor storyline added to the awesome gameplay, and there was enough randomness to make me want to play it again. Great visual style, games, music, right on!

Fantastic job, I'll be voting on it for the monthly. Cheers!

freaking awesome!

I am so honoured to hear from the maker of 4 second frenzy/fury! I have you to thank in a lot of ways, based on inspiration and all! Thanks for the positive feedback jmtb02!

Viva la Microgames indeed! =D

Perfect.

Glaiel and Bomtoons for the win.

The game is polished, fun to play, and awesome. It has everything you want in a sidescroller... challenge, great graphics, catchy music, and tons of little kids to shoot with water.

Nice alternative to the daily dose of shoot 'em ups, using water instead of violence. I liked that about this game. The kids getting hit with water and crying was a nice touch. The parallaxing of the backgrounds and foregrounds gave perfect sidescroller feel.

You guys made an amazing team together, can't wait to see more from you guys.

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

thanks and i'm sure we will. We left a few plot holes in here on purpose (what happened to the robot?)

Plus we got something planned for my website's new mascot

Interesting Concept

I really like the gameplay of this submission. Very simple yet very challenging, it really pulls you into trying to beat those levels! Best part is the awesome frame-by-frame animation that went into each of the blocks and enemies, and the guy who runs around. Great game, hope to see more from you in the future!

Jindo responds:

Thanks, one day I'll probably get as good as you =P.

Dunno why, but when I started the game, I was feeling my least laziest for a while so I decided to fbf the whole thing (or as much of it as I could).

Thanks for the review (I'm probably gonna join your next FSF).

Phenomenal

I got to hand it to you guys, this game was one of the most perfected, polished, awesome games to ever roll around Newgrounds. Everything from the art to gameplay, the game is solid and works in every direction. Congratulations.

Buzzwerd responds:

Ha, im so glad you like it. Your game is truly a masterpiece.

Nice

I have been seeing your work and you have been progressing steadily. I appreciate the hard work and seeing your improvement is great. Your code is looking a lot better, and everything is working nicely. While there still seems to be a lack of increasing toughness or change of enemy, it will only come with time. Great job.

Thank you for your support since the beginning. I appreciate everything people have given me advice about. Thank you once again.

Great!

This game has a lot of power to it. Very simple in gameplay, it shows just how hard it is to maintain a well balanced social, ecological, and economical balance. Creative simplicity in gameplay and a well built simulation makes it all the better. Congrats on this awesome game, great job!

StevoTheWise responds:

Thanks for the review :P. Yeah I tend to like simplicity in games so I didn't really want it overly complex or anything so i limited the options and whatnot. But yeah that was the message I was going for. Originally hard was the only difficulty to really show how hard it was... but winning should at least be a possibility so :P... i was forced by some of my friends to add difficulties..
thanks again for the review!

Nice job!

You did a pretty complete job creating a dress up for the madness series. Lots of things to choose from, and the style in which you made it makes it easy for people just to cut and paste from the browser into their own animations, signatures, or whatever. Good job, hope to see more from you in the future. Congrats on your first submission.

Hey thanks! That just gave me an idea! A button that transforms their creation into a GIF!

Well Done

I thought this game was well executed. Turning the simple base defender game into a one-person free-for-all was a clever twist, and the assortment of power ups and additions to the game made it all the better. Great job on this one!

Thanks man! I did expect a higher score with this, but, oh well.

Thanks!
