To the rest of the reviewers...

You can download the 30 day trial off of the macromedia website. It's called Flash MX 2004. Hope this helps.

Oh, and for a review, I thought it was a good tutorial. I wouldn't be pushing beginners to do frame by frame when they are just learning flash, but everything else was good. Great job.

Nice

My feet can't fit on the keyboard, haha. Anyway, that was pretty good, you have done a good job programming this one, very smooth and responsive. Hope to keep them coming.

Nice job, well done

Interesting game, I think that it was well done for a clone of DDR. I have tried to program my own versions of DDR and it is horribly hard to sync with music and actionscript. Great job, hope to see some harder stuff in the future.

Great game

I liked the full screen component of the game, not many people can make a fullscreen game run so quickly. Well, it wasnt full screen, more like fill up your whole browser window. But anyway, I thought it was cool, I like the fact that you used sql in it for certain parts, nice. Good arcade game.

Good

I think this submission has a great start. You have a story line, things to shoot at, and a mission. However, it was somewhat short, and needed actual filler. If you had cut scenes between shootings at different places that would be awesome. I think that you have potential for a great game! Hope to see it remade.

Just like whack-a-mole

Haha, this reminds me of that game in the arcades where you hit the moles when they pop up. Nice job. The only real negative thing about this flash is the fact that they shoot at me, yet none of them hit me! It's like I am invincible or something!!! Wow, I feel so powerful now :). Anyway, good work, simple game for a quick trip to NG.

Good start!

First submission? Not bad, I really liked the concept of the game. The animation cut scenes made it interesting too! I think there is definitely some work to be done on this one. I like the style of the game, very fun. The parallaxing effect in the background is good too. The characters need to be worked on, and the hitArea of the characters should be slightly larger. Other than that... finish it! Youve got potential with this game!

Comprehensive

Looks like you made this in Swift3D, and if you did, it was a lot of work to make all those weapons. Kudos for your hard work, I know animating and drawing in 3d is no picnic. Lots of items you put in there, great job.

Nice

I've seen it before, but hey, it was still good. I really do not have the time to figure out the logistics and math involved, but it was still a good trick. Nice job, interesting submission for NG.

Thank you jmtb02.

Good Concept

The game was awesome, I really did think it was a good game. However, there are some things to work on. Movement is fluid, however, you may want to try to restrain the game to a grid movement format, that way turning does not take work and does not require backing up multiple times to turn. Otherwise, it was a good game. Great concept. I think it would be awesome to redo the game and give bomberman some bombs to drop instead of the normal pacman "eat the bad guys" power ups. Great job.
