Whisking through the wastelands, killing raiders, saving slaves... all very well and good, but it wouldn't be the same without "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" playing would it? :P
Fallout is set in a universe parallel to ours where some crazy people dropped a bomb in the mid 40's (wonder who) and therefore the music didn't develop but technology did (it is also set in the year 2140 if I am not mistaken.
I'm totally with on the Fallout 3 soundtrack. It almost makes me want to buy the disk. My favorite song is Way Back Home.
At first I thought I would hate the old music, and I thought I would be muting the game to listen to my CDs. That's definitely not the case.

I'm more of a 60s guy myself, but I have to agree, oldies are a good refresher from the standard music you hear nowadays.
Does this mean that you'll take a page from this and end up putting "Blowin' in the Wind" in the next Ball Revamped? :P
