AS Goodness

Nice job, creative move on the game. Pretty good what you can do with one movieclip, congrats. Keep it up! Lets see a third one.

Good start, now finish it!

You have a basic setup for a great game, and this is a perfect stepping stone for a resubmission of an awesome game. I really liked this game for many reasons. First off, it was fun and simple. Secondly, it was easy to control, which a lot of games coming through are not. However, one level and one opponent and hard to hit walls make the game a little small. I would spruce this game up a whole lot, resubmit with 10 levels or so, and go all out with it. This is a good place to start, so keep at it. Good for what it was.

Good game, lagging controls

I really liked the concept of this game, I really did, until I felt the controls. The thrust is just too lagging for me. One little thrust every second or so is not enough for me, I need POWER. But that is okay, I loved the game for what it was, and it was interesting. Good idea with the passcodes, not many people will play a game a second time without the option to start on a later level. Good job, I thought it was a good game. Just work on the controls and you will be seeing some higher scores!

wow

I thought, whoh, what is this doing here, someone must have made a big mistake... this is NG. But then I realized it had NG humor in it, so okay, it was good. The graphics were really good imitating the original show, I think you just need to work on the sound. Good job!

Not a tutorial to blam!

This is great, everyone is so used to seeing tutorials for rollovers, custom cursors, or whatever on NG. Problem is that this doesnt help control the crap that comes in. At least with a tutorial for sprites now, it may not be a huge difference, but we may see less crap going through with horrible cutouts and animation. Maybe not, i dunno, but it should help. Good job, keep up the good work.

We can hope, can't we? We'll find out.

Thanks for the review.

okay... is it stolen?

It was fun, easy to grasp and made me think a little bit. However, if the past reviewers are telling the truth on you ripping off a tutorial or game, thats pretty low. However, since this is a game review, I'll give you a review either way.

awesome

I totally forgot about this game! HAHA! This is great so far, if you want some advice...

The programming seems well done, and the animation is okay. The graphics are a little bit raw, so some clean up of the gradients and line fills would be awesome.

Levels! It was about a 12 second gobble fest, and that was it. What I would do is either put more balls in, add more balls when they run out, or make the levels harder and harder. If you want to go for originality, put in balls that give you power ups or subtract or add balls. If you want to keep the original game style, leave it be.

This awesome, I gave it a four because I do not think anyones attempted this game before, very fun and very original. Congratulations!

Thanks a lot!

A very useful review!

Good... but

The controls are good, and the physics and everything work out fine, the graphics are enough, but the gameplay is mean. Sometimes I cannot bounce high enough to reach the next jump, and I end up dying because of it. It makes the game impossibly difficult. Fix that and you'll get a higher score from me.

Good effort though.

This is definitely going somewhere...

You got it, this could be an absolutely awesome game. You just need to fix a few things...
a) Make the animation and graphics a little cleaner
b) Clean up the sound
c) Give us the controls before we play, I know its in the NG info but a reminder or something before we play would be nice.
d) Spelling, i know it doesnt effect the game play, but it can get annoying after a while

This could be beautiful, it is good now, but give it some extra work and you've got a game. Great work, it was fun.

Foundation to something greater

Okay, this seemed like a ridiculous game when I played it. But then it made me realize how much potential this game could have. The concept of feeding food to people to make them happy works, so okay. The playing field is fun too. But the controls are just what are mind boggling. When I throw a cookie or cupcake it just shoots up straight in the air and comes back down. Why not have the ability to aim? That would make it a lot more fun. Also it is hard to pick up the items. It took me a while to realize you had to run all the way past an item to pick it up. Finally, make the screen either a lot bigger or everything in the playing field a lot smaller, its slightly hard to see.

Otherwise, you might have the foundation for something bigger. Think about music, graphics, and a slew of bad guys and you got a game. Get the positive energy bar draining with some graphics or sound effects so we know that we are losing energy. You've got some good components, just etch out the last details and it'll be great.

Good job, keep it up. I'll play the future levels if you release them.
