"Wow, fantastic downvoters for a good video"
The video was well edited, polished, humorous, and entertaining for the 8 minutes that it is. The evolution from basic guitar playing to flat-out silliness is just what this game needs to be portrayed as. Extra points for the heavy metal t-shirt and the spruced up guitar, which I think added to the whole efffect. I loved it, keep up the good work.
As a side commentary, I find it interesting that when the Teen Titans Hentai animation fuses original television clips with brand new animation, no one really gives a damn... or when someone uses sprites from a video game, people absolutely love it... but when it comes to Afro-Ninja fusing his new video with some GH3 gameplay video, people blow a gasket. I think everyone needs to just lighten up a bit :).

Picross is an amazingly addictive game. This version of Picross does an extraordinary job packing in features and quality animation/art. Very polished, very good job!
Not many bad things to say about this... possibly a clearer indication of what levels have been finished? Otherwise, nice job!

I got a 1,000, which is neat I guess. I liked the idea of the quiz and it was intriguing to me, but the shape tweens were sort of over the top. Nice job though, hope to see another.

I love it! I don't know what it is, but something about actually being able to run around a map and do things is exciting. A lot of shooter games require standing in one place, and moving a cursor around the screen in hopes of shooting some fast moving object... but this is definitely a fun take on it, and is executed simply but well. Kudos to your use of 3d, I am sure it was a lot more work then it appears to be :).

The work on the game itself wasn't too hard but making the initial 3D game engine some time back was hard, so overall, yeah, it was hard work. And thank you, jmtb02 for your comments. I will be adding more depth in future 3D games!

"Weak Argument, Terrible Message"
Wait, let me see if I have this right. You have issues with the government, so your response is to make a music-video length animation about the problems facing it without giving a clear platform or objective? This animation is the most misguided, unrealistic view of government and ways to fix it.
If you have a problem with something, do something reasonable about it.
Basically you could have done something awesome with your time. You have the talent, just a lack of direction. If you have a political stance, than god speed to you. But really, your textbook definitions and quotes from the Declaration of Independence are not going to save our media monopolies or whatever else you seemed to pace through way too quickly in the beginning... with everyone suddenly getting angry and taking over their government in a giant war for democracy.
The animation suffers far beyond your lack of focus. You subject looks like the devil, and I hate to break it to you, but portraying your protagonist as the devil doesn't really work when you want your audience to identify with the main subject. If memory serves me right, the devil is typically a negative, non-associated character. And several times the pacing was just irregular and awkward. It makes it hard to understand what you are trying to say (but overall, I had no clue what you were trying to say... besides burn and kill Capitol Hill because you hate our government policies)?
Next time, take your catchy song and do something more meaningful with yourself. I'm waiting for your nonchalant "I'LL DO WHATEVER I WANT" response from other reviews, because really, it fits your "rebellion will triumph!" attitude about things... skewed, illogical, and definitely among those who will sit in the backseat complaining with no solution or guidance.

It's not very reasonable for you to complain to me about how I chose to express myself. You should do the reasonable thing and shut the hell up because this is an ANIMATION WEBSITE.

I like the core concept of the game, but there were a few things that really irked me about the game.
First, the preloader issue. The preloader will not load immediately which is due to linkages and music being loaded dynamically. This can be fixed by setting the linkages to not Export on the First Frame, and to hide them in a movieclip on frame 2.
Second, the element of confusion. I had a bit of trouble finding out why exactly I started glowing blue in a 'rage' or why certain events in the game happened. It makes it hard to try to achieve the same sort of event (or avoid it for that matter), and made the game seem almost random at times.
The foley in the game seemed somewhat off. The nail gun sounded like a pipe bang, and given that sound effects set the secondary mise-en-scene, it made it hard to get in the zombie killing mood.
Finally, I was slightly distracted by the idea that the primary weapon is the chainsaw. Given that the chainsaw is usually an end-all weapon, I had genre-confusion when trying to rip people open with the chainsaw. It seems a lot less momentous to fight a zombie knowing I have been running over it with the chainsaw for about 5-10 seconds.
But there were some strong points. I liked the idea of the zombies running out of the right side all crazy... the element of surprise there was good. I also liked the artwork, which was a bit better than average and obviously well planned. The game has it's strong moments, but the few technical bugs made it troublesome. At one point I started running like crazy, without any sort of control over my protag. Cycling through weapons was like trying to play the game with my eyes closed too.
I still had fun though... you have a knack for programming and art... just need to iron out a few of the edges :).

I saw this on JayIs a while back, and I am glad it has made it's way here! It's a terrific casual game, and I am completely impressed with the simplicity and style of the game. Congrats, you did an amazing job.

I have printed out FIVE copies of my artwork and CANNOT find a mailing address to mail these to LUIS YOU FORGOT AN ADDRESS >:((((
On a more personal note, the Sketchbook Tour came out phenomenal this year, topping even last year's design. Loved it, great job you guys. Everyone on the team did a great job, extra kudos to Luis for a great final product. Glad I could sneak my Cloud Sig in to the contest even before it became a stupid fad.
