I have never sat down and made a list of the most influential games on my life. Seeing that Newgrounds had a "Favorite Games" section now on user's profiles, I decided to finally make that list. Here are my picks... am I missing anything? Mind you, this is my personal opinion and nothing official :).

I'd agree with about 85-90% of that. What makes me lol is there isn't a single Sonic game up their (someone owes me $20).
What I don't see up their though is Mass Effect and World of Warcraft (If you liked Warcraft 2, wait till you play 3).

The thing is that Sonic wasn't a huge innovator, which made me discouraged from adding him. Sonic 2 probably should be up there... that game was fantastic. Also just about every sonic game made after Sonic CD was terrible.

Final Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts 2, and Guitar Hero 3, those games should be on your list, i like nearly all of the games on your list except Harvest Moon, great list

Final Fantasy 10 was okay... could never get into it too much. The railroaded storyline just irked me.

Kingdom Hearts 2 was a fantastic upgrade to the original, I agree. Should be there.

Guitar Hero 3 didn't do it for me. Getting hit with the difficulty curve for the last set made me realize they are not making it fun anymore... they are making it impossible. I was also not a huge fan of the constantly changing in-game advertising. I am buying a $60 game with $75 controllers... least they can do is spare me a bit more than the constant brand advertisement.

Though, it seems more or less that you have compiled a list of the most popular and top rated games of all time so nobody would complain because everybody loves them. :D

Oh some of them aren't too popular, by any means. Uniracers was definitely a cult classic that not too many ever played, and most people won't even know what Tempest is :).

I have to say that more people need to play Sam and Max hit the Road, Lemmings and Worms. Also, have you played Day of the Tentacle? More people need to play that too. Looks like you prefer mario to sonic, I'm a fan of the old sonic games. Yep, looks pretty good. Out of those games that I've played, I'll agree.

Actually, it was Day of the Tentacle that got me locked into these games. Definitely need to add that somewhere. Ever play Full Throttle? Definitely on par!

I considered Kirby Super Star, but decided that just having Kirby's Adventure, the original title for the NES stands alone as a better game. Of course Kirby Super Star does have the original Kirby's Adventure in it, but Adventure came first.

I really enjoy how you included the oh so old and poor Ocarina of Time. That game was awesome! Did you have a rumble pak? Then you could have used that stone of secrets or something to find hidden clues and items :o

It's got worms, myst, lemmings and pokemon. And you didn't overlook Majora's Mask, which is cool.

I think the original Final Fantasy deserves a spot.

I'm not sure if I really liked the original Final Fantasy. It's pretty dry and rudimentary compared to the other titles.

Streets of Rage 2....I remember that game..... It was so AWESOME....I'm gonna pull out my emulator to play it (I should really buy the actual game with a Genesis though)

Is it just me, or is twilight princess not on there? i know all the talk about it being the best game ever left fans a little dissapointed, but still in my books it scores a 9/10. please explain why it isnt on here.

I'm on the fence for Twilight Princess... still giving it a few more months to decide if it was really as epic as I thought it was. In some regards it was excellent, but for some reason there were some minor annoyances that made the gameplay difficult this time around, and hard to get back into each night. Swinging the wiimote was one of those.

when people heard of them mixing Disney and Final Fantasy With that weird

Kingdom Hearts manages to do a lot with a lot of content... it really showed how to make a game that blends two completely different franchises.

Even if the first Final Fantasy was dry, it set the layout for RPG videogames everywhere, so it deserves a spot for it's historical impact.

But I liked it, so I'm probably just trying to defend my love of the game nobody liked.
